Codrington Library, All Souls College, Oxford, England.
All Souls College, founded in 1438, is today principally an institution for academic research, with an emphasis on the humanities. In addition to its traditional subjects of history and law, the College has Fellows working in classics, economics, life sciences, literature, mathematics, philosophy, physics, politics, and more. Although All Souls has no students of its own, its Fellows provide lectures, seminars, undergraduate tutorials and graduate supervision to students across Oxford University. The College also contributes to University research through the holdings of its Codrington Library.
