| AVGUSTAE TAVRINORVM PROSPECTUS, Joan Blaeu (1682). This beautiful prospect of city of Turin was published in 1682 by the heirs of Joan Blaeu in the fourth volume of the Town books of Italy. This city view certainly must have attributed to the actuality of the town book: the map was designed and drawn by Giovanni Thomaso Borgonio (c. 1620-1684) who published in 1680 in Turin a large and influentual map of his birth area Piemonte. This city view was probable drawn in the framework of the survey. | |||
